Abstract
|
|
|
The synthesis of Ethyl-4-methoxybenzylidenecyanoacetate was confirmed by IR spectrophotometer, NMR and Mass spectrometer.
The crystal is monoclinic with a=8.63(1), b=8.43(1), c=17.38(2), β=91.6(1)˚, Z=4 and space group P2_(1)/n, so that four molecules in a unit cell are arranged to have 2_(1) screw symmetry along b-axis and n glide plane perpendicular to it.
